Village of Sussex

The Village of Sussex was incorporated in 1924 from the hamlets of Sussex and Templeton. The Village is generally small town in nature, but there are some subdivisions and a unique 221-acre industrial park.

Town of Lisbon

The Town of Lisbon is a Township of approximately 30 square miles surrounding the Village of Sussex. The Town is generally rural in nature with a 1999 population of over 9,000, but there are some fifty subdivisions and one mobile home park.

Sussex-Lisbon Historical Society

Village of Lannon

The Village of Lannon, incorporated in 1930, was named for William N. Lannon. He owned the 200 acre Lannon Springs Farm and started the Lannon Springs post pffice, later shortened to Lannon. The current population of Lannon is just over 1000.
